You see the all-new-for-2017 Buick LaCrosse body first. It’s elegant, swoopy and upscale, peppered with details in the form of sculpts and character lines: the low, swept roofline, steeply raked windshield and graceful curves. It all calls to mind a great big coupe, not a bloated land barge. It’s gorgeous and provocative – distinctive in contrast to the boxy Chrysler 300, or the discreet-looking Toyota Avalon. This is a fresh face, in a sea of familiar faces.

On certain vehicles, the rear-suspension toe-links may have been installed incorrectly (i.e., in the reverse direction). If a toe-link is installed in this incorrect direction, the bolt at the outboard attachment could come loose and fall out over time, which could cause the toe-link to disconnect from the rear-suspension system. If a rear-suspension toe-link becomes disconnected, the driver may lose the ability to control the vehicle, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and reorient the toe-links as required.

On certain vehicles, the cable seal of one or both of the electric power steering (EPS) connectors may not be properly seated which could allow water to enter and corrode the connections. This could lead to increased resistance in the EPS circuit which could result in intermittent or permanent loss of the steering assist. A loss of power steering assist could unexpectedly increase steering effort which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will ensure the connector is fully seated and secure it in place.
