History/Overview
For nearly 20 years, Infiniti has served the full-size luxury SUV market with the QX80. The current, second generation of this truck was introduced in 2011 and enjoyed styling and equipment updates in 2015 and again in 2018. Note that prior to 2014, Infiniti called this big utility the QX56.
What’s New/Key Changes From Last Year
This year, the QX80 gains built-in Amazon Alexa functionality, and haptic steering wheel feedback for the lane departure warning system.
Available Trims
Infiniti sells the QX80 in Luxe and ProActive trim levels, both of which are powered by a 5.6L V8 engine, a seven-speed transmission, and four-wheel drive.
Standard Features
Luxe trim starts with auto on/off LED headlights/fog lights, power-folding/auto-dimming side mirrors, 20-inch wheels, a sunroof, passive keyless entry, and a power tailgate.
Inside, you get quilted leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with heat/ventilation, a heated steering wheel with electric adjustments, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, three-zone A/C, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, navigation, Amazon Alexa, a 17-speaker stereo, and rear-seat entertainment.
The QX80’s standard safety suite comprises automatic high beams, forward collision mitigation, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, surround-view cameras, front and rear parking sensors, and driver attention alert.
ProActive models gain a hydraulic body motion control suspension, adaptive headlights, 22-inch wheels, a digital rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, blind spot intervention, and lane departure prevention.
Key Options
As mentioned above, both Luxe and ProActive trim levels can be had with either seven- or eight-passenger seating.

Infiniti’s fuel consumption estimates for the QX80 are 17.5/12.2 L/100 km (city/highway).
