Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Issue: On certain vehicles, a quick connector for the fuel line in the engine compartment may not be secure. As a result, the connector could detach and cause a fuel leak. This could cause the engine to stall while driving. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Action: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the fuel line connection. If required, the fuel line and connector will be replaced.
