Excellent on long trips. Many to Myrtle Beach. 1 trip coast to coast and 1 or 2 a year to New Brunswick..

Purchased new from showroom in 2001. Have stored it every winter and can't wait to put it on the road each Spring. Great mileage and performance.

My favorite car EVER. Great to drive and as a passenger, too -- tons of leg room in the front with the seats back, and even fits three in the back! If you like a powerful car, you'll love this Monte!

if you know the ss, then you know what's up. Thus ride is a head turner and consistently complimented.

dependable with minimum maintenance, respectable throttle response with good fuel economy, appearance is very appealing with flowing body lines, inside controls are ergonomic.

Since this car was totally restored I have enjoyed taking it to car shows and driving on the week ends. Its a looker and many good comments on the clean condition and glossy paint.Sounds a little more heavier than a 1978 350 Z28. Very nice cam, runs very good and starts fine. Show quality interior and trunk is just as clean. This car came with a 350 trans and I installed a 700 trans with a manual TCC hook up from TCI. to have overdrive. Loves to cruise.

I've never had any problems with this car. It's always been reliable. I was impressed with the gas mileage for it's size. It's great handling and smooth riding.

Haven't had a real problem with it since I bought it, it's a big car but its good on gas and never left me stranded.

This fabulous Monte Carlo has been well taken care of and in turn has taken good care of me. This car could be considered immaculate.

I have not had a single issue with this car. If i had more room and the time to drive this auto mobile I would keep it. The only reason i am selling it is so i can have a project to start or continue with my son.

Awesome car and very rare! None like it around. Most just stare at it, not having seen one before. So original, its like buying a new car.

I've never had an issue, I've gone long distances with no problems and it's super comfortable. I've done some mods that have boosted the Horsepower and response time.

Love this car, but love my wife more...she says I have too many toys.
Great car especially for a Nascar enthusiast, classy car with low kms makes this car a worthwhile investment.

I love the car it handles well and has great fuel economy. The car itself looks great the only issue is it being made of plastic. What happened to vehicles made of metal? Another issue with the monte it a lot of specialty tools are needed so you have to take it to a dealership shop to get anything fixed which usually costs way more.

When I first got this car, it was fantastic. It handled well, survived a lot of long trips and had great trunk space. Then it went downhill. I had to replace the gas tank, the breaks, alternator, battery, and a few other major parts. The electrical wiring completely failed me; all my lights stopped working. I was very glad to be rid of this car in the end.

Amazing vehicle, quick pick up very tough car both in looks and performance. Very comfortablew interior for those long road trips. Very reliable car have had no issues with it and am the second owner and have had the car since 2006.

Ive owned a 06 Monte Carlo LT since 24,000km and Ive loved it. It has had minor issues but what car doesn't? It has style to pickup women and power to tow your toys around. I would have never sold it but with a wife and 2 children its time to move to a 4-door. I drove it across Canada in the middle of its life and couldn't have been more happy with the way it performed. Its sad to hear that the Monte Carlo will be no more. At least I got to be a part of the last generation. Thanks Chevy for a wonderful car!

The 02 Monte Carlo is a good car. It is good on gas. It is very reliable. It is a cheaper car, so it is also cheaper to fix.

I have driven a lot of vehicles this car is a great car for long drives and short drives easy on gas these days we need that. it has 140000 km on it but it is still very stiff under carriage. I had a long ride to Ottawa it drove like a dream. It took two tanks of gas to get there it was great any other car of this size would have been three tanks. new tires , new brakes and rotors . 38 mpg great on gas for sure.Its got great pick up on speed awesome on bends with the handling .

While I'm not usually a fan of low vehicles, this one makes up for it with class, style and attitude.

I bought this car as the second owner, and it's been the greatest vehicle i've had. I had a 2002 Monte Carlos SS and sold it, then moved into a 2006 Cadillac CTS which was a horrible vehicle. I had nothing by tranny issues and problems with the motor. After 1 year of putting up with the CTS, I went back to a Monte Carlo. The local Chev dealership had an 06 SS in Black/Silver 2 tone on display. I knew they had beefed up the motor to the 325 cubic inch v8 - and boy, does it ever haul! I've raced all of the "street muscle" cars - mustangs, G8 GT's, Charger R/T's and Challenger R/T's, and I have no problem keeping up and in most cases pulling ahead. I haven't a an ounce problem with the car since i bought it (had it 3 years). The car is a beast on tires... due to the FWD setup, if you get on the throttle anything less thatn 60km/h, the front tires do spin, and in turn you loose rubber. In 3 years i've gone through 3 sets of tires... it seems that I always need to replace them right before the snow flies!!! Overall, it's a great machine. the ride is comfortable, and the look is very unique and eye catching. A great vehicle!

We've had this car for awhile now. We drive long haul transport, so the car is left at the yard for long stretchs at a time, like 2 months, without being started. When we come in from over the road, the last thiong we need is a car that won't start!! It had never let us down! It runs just like we parked it the day before. Love all the opions and the power moon roof is the best!!
