For 2013, the Dodge Durango continues with the same body style and engine options as the previous year, with some upgrades to optional packages and a new Blacktop Edition package.
The Durango is available with two engine options - Chrysler's 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 290 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque with a five-speed automatic transmission, or the 5.7L HEMI V8 with 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed automatic. All Durangos feature full-time all-wheel drive with 5.7L HEMI V8 models available with a two-speed transfer case.
Trims for the Durango include SXT, Crew Plus, R/T, and Citadel.
On the SXT, features include 3.6L Pentastar V6, five-speed automatic, active all-wheel-drive, seven passenger premium cloth seating, 18-inch aluminum wheels, Uconnect hands-free communication with Bluetooth, electronic stability control with hill start assist, ready alert braking, traction control, brake assist with rain brake support, dual-zone automatic climate control, fog lights, automatic headlights, power heated mirrors, tilt and telescopic steering, steering wheel mounted cruise and audio controls, Uconnect 130 with six speakers and auxiliary jack, satellite radio (first year free), active front headrests, six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, fold-flat front passenger seat, 60/40 fold/tumble 2nd row reclining seat, 50/50 split/folding 3rd row seat. electronic vehicle information centre, and auto dimming rear-view mirror with microphone.
Crew Plus trim adds premium leather-faced seating, 1st/2nd row heated seats, 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, Uconnect 430 with 6.5-inch touchscreen and 28GB hard drive storage, premium Alpine audio with 9-speakers and amplifier, rear-view camera with parking sensors, proximity key with push-button start, remote start, security alarm, power liftgate, leather wrapped steering wheel, bright door handles/grille/side mirrors, 8-way driver/6-way passenger power adjustable seats, chrome roof rack rails, and cargo compartment cover.
Citadel trim adds 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels, Nappa leather-faced seats, vented front seats, 8-way passenger power adjustable seat, power sunroof, HID auto levelling headlamps, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, power heated tilt/telescopic steering wheel, Uconnect 730, and navigation.
All above trims are available with the optional 5.7L HEMI V8 and six-speed automatic transmission with two-speed transfer case.
R/T trim does not follow the progressive addition of features like the other trims. Its features include the 5.7L HEMI V8 with six-speed automatic and two-speed transfer case, performance steering, lowered suspension (20mm), leather-faced seats with embroidered R/T badging on front seats, body-colour grille, fascia, wheel lips, and mouldings, 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with Mineral Grey pockets, HID auto levelling headlamps, Uconnect hands-free communication with Bluetooth, Uconnect 430, satellite radio (free first year), leather-wrapped power tilt/telescopic steering wheel, 1st/2nd row heated seats, 50/50 split/folding 3rd row, proximity key with push-button start, remote start, security alarm, power liftgate, and universal door opener.
