NEW FOR 2011:
- New Sport and SE packages
For 2011, the Hyundai Accent adds two new packages. The two-door L trim line can be optioned with a Sport Package, for $1,200, which adds a sunroof, fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension and Sport badge.
The four-door GL can be optioned with an SE package for $750, which adds a sunroof, fog lamps, and heated front seats.
The Accent is available as a two-door hatchback, which the company calls the 3-Door, or as a four-door sedan. The hatchback comes as the L and GL, both available with Sport packages. The sedan comes as the L, GL and GLS, with the available new SE package on the GL.
All models use a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with continuously variable valve timing. A five-speed manual transmission can be optioned to a four-speed automatic in all models except the GLS, which uses the automatic exclusively.
Features on the L sedan include 14-inch steel wheels, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and four speakers, manual multi-adjustable driver’s seat with armrest, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, vanity mirrors, tilt steering wheel, rear centre armrest with cupholders, and variable intermittent wipers.
The GL sedan adds air conditioning, power mirrors, power locks with keyless entry, cruise control and power windows with driver’s auto-down.
The GLS sedan adds 15-inch alloy wheels, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, fog lights, heated seats, power sunroof and six speakers.
Features on the L hatchback include 14-inch steel wheels, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and four speakers, manual multi-adjustable driver’s seat and armrest, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, vanity mirrors, tilt steering wheel, rear spoiler, variable intermittent wipers, and intermittent rear wiper/washer.
The GL adds air conditioning, power mirrors, power locks with keyless entry, and power windows with driver’s auto-down.
The GL with Sport Package adds 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, sport-tuned suspension, power sunroof, and six speakers.
