I've owned this truck for 7 years and have not had an issue yet with her. Fairly smooth riding, reliable, tough, gets me where I am going and comfortably so. Chev is the only vehicle for me

comfortable ride, solidly built, never had an issue with a Silverado. the third seat in the front comes in handy often. I also love the service our Chevrolet dealer provides.

Purchased a few months ago used, 250k kms and runs just as well as the day it were made, inspected by trusted sources and well maintained it is a great vehicle

This is a great truck! Lots of power for highway drives and just around town. Its about as hard on fuel as any truck. Handles great and has lots of room.Very comfortable and can handle any load.

Great truck built tough, 6.2 amazing engine. a little fuel hungry but that is to be expected with that amount of power. Easy to work on yourself unlike some vehicles. smooth ride, comfortable seats makes long drives a breeze. Highly recommended vehicle.

I've just hit the 100,000 km mark.Bought it in 2011 at the 79,000 mark.It's the comfort of a Cadillac in a shape of a pick-up truck!Very low maintenance:It doesn't break down;just normal wear and tear!American made,so replacement parts are easily available!V-8,4.8L engine.Engine is so quiet when idling,you have to listen carefully to make sure it's on!Fit 6 passengers.

We have a box cab and the truck has never let us down, we have been using it for about a year now and it hasnt done us wrong. It isnt the best on gas though

Smooth ride and nice looking truck, better in snow than I expected. Average on fuel and surprisingly quiet inside the cab. Would not hesitate to buy again.

This has been one great work horse! Towing with ease and always ready to go where other vehicles may not. The manual version has been fun and very practical for towing.

This is the best work truck I have ever owned! The manual transmission is great for towing and fuel economy for the 4.8L engine. Reliable 4x4 and seats 6 for extra passengers.Don't need it otherwise would keep it!

In three years of driving, I've only had one problem. Power steering hose started leaking on a -40c day. Fixed quickly under warranty.

Great style, power, mileage and very comfortable. Fuel economy is not best in class so I gave it 4 stars on that.

I have driven many other brands of trucks and have found that this is definitely the most comfortable and smoothest of any pick up truck!

Reliable for all heavy duty needs. Was my company truck for two years, (all highway driving). Purchased truck when I retired 5 years ago. Stored during winter months while we are south. All shop maintenance up to date. Will certify and price is negotiable. You won't be sorry if you buy this vehicle, many more years of good driving.

I liked the 2006, great on gas, lots of power. The truck came with 17" rims which makes ties cheaper to buy. Lots of room with the 4 doors, Easy to get kids in and out of car seats.

Great looking truck and in amazing condition. Lots of great extras above and beyond factory. Drives really smooth. Love the wheels.

This is a great truck. I have a car and don't drive the truck too much.the A/C works great, tool box in the back also a bed liner.Runs quiet.

One of the best trucks I've owned.Very smooth power with good pulling power.Handles our RV with little effort.Not the best on fuel when towing but the comfort and handling more than make up for the little extra fuel .

owned this truck for almost 3 years comfy, very reliable and tows like nothings behind it, with the 5.3l and 6 speed fuel mileage was never an issue either

This is a surplus gov't vehicle that I bought based solely upon the shape it was in. The dispersal guy had no idea where it came from, or why it would be declared surplus. I had 3 clues. It was bought originally from the Paul Sadlon dealership in Barrie. It has one key fob that says 'ATC line truck' and a second that simply says 'Tower' truck. I phoned the base ops duty officer at CFB Borden (near Barrie), and she said it would have been the Air Traffic Control truck, driven by the Tower commander, used to get him from hangar to tower and to scout the runways. This accounts for the low mileage. She said daily fluid inspections are part of their duties, and her Silverado (a common DND choice, apparently) is in "all the time" for maintenance, so I was left with the impression that their trucks spend a lot of time in the shop because the mechanics have time on their hands. She was not surprised about the condition. I still don't know why it was declared surplus, but I did google DND protocols and the base commander has the authority to make that declaration. So, maybe he figured it was 8 years old, time for a new one, or maybe it simply timed out. It was definitely not because it was beat or something was wrong. I have driven it for a few hundred kilometres just to be sure. Their loss, my gain, possibly your gain. You won't find a better one.

I pull my 6000 pound camper anyplace I need to go with my 4.8L V8... it's 302 hp, everyone tends to forget that! Haven't come across anything my truck wouldn't do for me. Just wish it was better on gas, but in spite of that... we drive it more often than our more efficient car just because it's so roomy and comfortable.
