2010 GMC Acadia

by Bob7156 on 12-22-2012
It's a terrific ride
This car has it all from great looks to outstanding performance I would love to sit in this car all day because of the great reliable interior design. Specifically designed to comfort both the passengers and obviously the driver. This car in my opinion is the greatest SUV designed by GMC ever. The GMC Acadia is a car that supports any kind of passenger. This means that the adjustable seats are able to comfort any driver. Since they are able to transform into an elegant perfect comfort serving seating. This again makes me have to say how outstanding and reliable this one of a kind vehicle is.

Best vehicle I have ever owned!
I bought the 2010 Acadia at the end of the model year, and almost three years later I am still very happy with the car. It handles well, has great storage, and it's spacious. The only drawback is that the third row seating wouldn't be great for adults, as the leg room is pretty tight.

2008 GMC Acadia

A Very Positive Experience
The GMC Acadia is a comfortable, reliable SUV with very good fuel economy. It handles very nicely on the highway and is efficent in the city as well. The overall look of the vehicle is appealing and very modern looking and one can tell the Acadia's body style is very new. The interior is very spacious as it seats 7 passengers very comfortly. Our particular Acadia has a DVD player equipped with XM satellite radio. The driving experience and the passenger experience are very positive and our family would recommend this vehicle to anyone wanting a spacious good looking ride.

YOU WILL LOVE IT
The Acadia has been a life saver when travelling with our 3 children!! There is so much for them to do it is just like being at home for them! We have been to Florida in there and without all the entertainment options we would have never made it. The vehicle is very reliable and sturdy in the winter.

2005 GMC Acadia

by GMC2814 on 12-05-2012
Comfortable Ride
I absolutely love my 2005 GMC Acadia. It seats 7, which is plenty of room for my family of 5, and our Golden Retriever dog in the back. I really like the captains seats in the back, as it allows for ease of passengers to get in and out of the back bench seats.
The leather interior is very comfortable and posh feeling. With the added heated seats they are even comfy in the winter. Too bad the back seats weren't heated as well.
I like the gear shift in the middle console as opposed to on the steering wheel, it just gives that extra bit of sporty feeling, along with my dual sunroofs.

I wish the fuel economy was better, but for a larger vehicle and a busy family of 5, it is to be expected.
The only thing I don't like about the Acadia, is it's lack of horsepower when starting up from a stop, make a turn at the lights etc. it seems to pause or hesitate abit, which I hear is common with the Acadia's.

Overall I really love the GMC Acadia.

2008 Acadia....SLE
8 passenger ride...and didn't want to be seen in a mini van
maintenance...is high....no after market parts....like windshield wipers, struts and control arms....you're stuck buying it from GMC....to chang the head lights , they have to take the grill off...so when one blew out....we had Woodwheaton change them all out...it was a $450 job.....other than that, its an aweome choice....we have 4 kids and there is enough room for the whole family
I would buy the newer version....they have a better review than this model

2008 GMC Acadia

Would buy it again!
Our Acadia is a great crossover for so many reasons. It gets great mileage, holds everything we try and put in it (which can get crazy) and goes everywhere we point it. We don't use air travel so this vehicle takes us to AZ twice a year, more trips to the inlaws that I care to count and is just so reliable. The comfort would have gotten a 5 if the headrests moved. When you put the seat back the head rest keeps your head forward so it is not as easy to nap...but not a deal breaker. Our next car will be another crossover and I would be surprised if it wasn't another GMC!!

2010 GMC Acadia

Could be the best vehicle if only......
I love my Acadia. Great seating for eight to haul the children and grandchildren when needed, with the option to put all of the back seats down for carrying cargo. Great comfortable car. Tows our little trailer with ease. Love it, "except" after 2 1/2 years we had to have a brand new engine replaced (under warranty). We weren't told earlier but we should have been using synthetic oil apparently, so hopefully this engine lasts longer with the synthetic oil. We have heard that after the engine goes, the transmission goes? Now a part has gone on the heating/cooling system. I fear we have a lemon! I still think the design is great and would buy another one at this point.

2004 GMC Acadia

A really good and comfortable vehicle
The GMC Acadia is a full-size crossover SUV from GM. The GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave and Saturn Outlook share the new GM Lambda platform. The Acadia went on sale in the United States in December 2006, and in Canada in January, 2007. The Acadia replaces 3 of the 7/8-passenger vehicles on the Pontiac-Buick-GMC dealership network, the mid-size GMC Safari van, the GMC Envoy, and the Pontiac Montana SV6 minivan for the USA Only. As of 2009, the Lambda vehicles have replaced the Buick Rainier, Buick Rendezvous and the Buick Terraza, and then subsequently the GMC Envoy and the Chevrolet TrailBlazer. A Denali version of the Acadia debuted in 2010 as a 2011 modelThe Acadia augments GMC with an entry level truck-like SUV and is the first unibody vehicle from the marque. It is also GMC's first front-wheel drive passenger vehicle and GMC's first crossover SUV. The Acadia features seating for eight, generous interior space, and either front or all-wheel drive. With a 5,200 lb (2,042 kg) towing capacity, the Acadia slots between the Envoy and the Yukon. The Acadia is the mid-priced Lambda model between the Chevrolet Traverse and Enclave. The Acadia had average reliability ratings in Consumer Reports' surveys.

GMC Acadia, LOVE IT!
We have had this car for a couple years and LOVE IT! I do wish it was better on gas but it still is pretty good for a V6. Comfort is great, it's got all the bells & whistles. Heated seats, leather int, power seats, windows, locks, lift gate, navigation, DVD, and 8 seater. It's great for our family of 5.

Perfect Size and great options
This has been a great car for my wife and I. We have taken it on many road trips. It is great in the winter and can pull a boat and hold a lot of luggage (and shopping bags). For it's size (7 passenger - 6 cylinder - AWD) it is excellent on fuel. This vehicle has very attractive styling, great colour of paint, and every option you can get. Also comes with brand new all-season tires.

2012 GMC Acadia

Average SUV, dont buy into the extra seats
This is an average vehicle, it does not have any thing lacking or excessive in its power delivery.

The boot space is reasonable, bigger than a compact SUV.

They do offer an option for rear seats, I do not find the rear row practical, its not fair to count them as seats.

Overall your average mid size SUV, as with all of them, do get in those rear row seats before you count them as the vehicle feature.
