Positive: Immense range, diesel thrift, quiet and composed, deceptively fast cruiser.
Negative: A bit heavy at the scales, diesel price premium, lazy acceleration.

An overall package full of value. Have driven in Canadian winter with solid performance. One of the best ranking vehicle from recent past which is meant to last forever. If you are looking for a used luxury vehicle with 'MB Star', you will not regret your decision.

Have had this car for 3 years and really enjoyed it. Luxury sports drive with lots of power and superb handling. Very cool look and ahead of it's time. Really enjoyed it Could have gone for E550 for more power, but not really needed for city and highway drive...only for ego:-)

We have had this car for 4 years and it has been nothing but a joy to have and that is why we have ordered another one. We vacation in Florida for the Winter and do not bring it with us, it stays stored until we get back in April.

If you'r looking for a reliable car , like Japanese cars , go for this class , I've had experience with many cars , like CTS , 5 Series ,XJ but E class , is one of the best in their class , when you buy the second hand you will be satisfy because of maintenance , reliable , awesome , and cool design , but go for 4Matic , because if you wanna drive in Canada , the RWD will makes a big crash , because of snow and rain.
mine was one the worst , with engine check on and many issues , but still runs , like the new brand

Wonderful car for the intended purpose; very happy with the purchase. A most relaxing ride; very comfortable & supportive seats and least amount of road noise I have experienced in a car. Have the premium 2 and sports package. Get well over 500 kmper tank of gas. Stereo system overall is fantastic, navigation system is a much needed improvement over previous generation and is very good. Engineering is what is expected; best in class trunk size when trunk closes engineered to not pinch the luggage! Bluetooth works fine & easy to set up. It was stored for the winter season to keep it away from harsh conditions and was treated like a baby. Exterior washes every week with the appropriate products and twice a month, an In/Out wash with interior care products.

I love this car, and it is great, good power and excellent manipulation, acceleration is great too.

I had my E300 for 4 years now and all I can say, it is an amazing car. I don't think it gets any better than driving this car on highway. I've been driving for many year, all kind of cars and makes but this is my first Mercedes and I am impressed.
I am thinking to sell it just to buy an newer E350.
On the other hand, it's a perfect car ... why change it ?

This has been the most reliable car. The fuel economy is still amazing considering that it has driven over 580000 km. Probably one of the best MB models ever made.

As a female driver I take care of my car very carefully, new tires changed in January, 2015 , has been regularly maintained and very well taken care of .. loaded with all the options you can think of in a Mercedes .. 4wheel drive ,leather seats, heated seats, navigation , sunroof , tinted windows, heated telescopic steering , and many more very clean inside and out . Don't miss it!

i have changed my car about 16 cars until i got my right and safe and saving lots of money on gas it was 2011 E350 Bluetec , what a beautiful shape and design and safe and most reliable car i ever had , save you lots of money on gas for the full tank i was driving about 750km average , and another option i had on my car was smart cruise control or advanced cruise control what amazing option it stops your car while driving if anything comes in front of you , i really loved , i had since 2011 till 2015 i drove about 120000km didn't spent a penny on it other than gas and oil change , but now i changed to 2015 ML350BT , thanks for Mercedes benz for what they make ,

I like two types of cars - Japanese and German stuff. Bought my 2001 E55 AMG as a beater, complete with rust as a high km rebuild from Ontario - cheap, covered in cancerous sores and hiding a dark past. Runs A1 though, no turbos or superchargers to go wrong and so much more fun on dry pavement than pretty much anything with 4 tires could be while moving. I drive an ancient Rav4 in winter.

I had a specific mindset when I bought this car - no worrying about expensive perfection, I'm letting the parts fall off slowly. To me, this car is like driving a shark in traffic, I generally idle it on my 17.8 km commute and get 9.8 litres/100 km in town. I have managed 7.7 litres/100 km on the open road which translates to 37 mpg in a car with 349 hp, yuk yuk!

The 5 speed slapshift transmission in this car is the same as in the much more porky Maybach. It's good to go. I run factory synthetic and enjoy 15,000 km oil changes but flushed the transmission as a precaution when I bought my beater at 230,000 km. I'm at 266K now. Don't think I needed to, it was precautionary just in case.

I've had many cars and like Benzes mainly because of their reputation for durability and safety. My cousin figures the E55 Benz is the car that killed the American muscle car. I simply consider this car a 4 door Corvette.

I would buy another (in better physical condition) one in a heartbeat, despite the occasional European electrical quirks. This car (being the sport model) is at least twice as much fun as a Lexus. If you just want an E class, don't overlook the Lexus on the used market!

I have loved driving this car. It is a complete package of style, performance, reliability and excitement. It is so true that once you drive a German brand it is very hard to go back to any other. This car is the epitome of car driving experience and I will buy another Mercedes in a heartbeat.

My experience driving this car was very good it drives very very smooth easy to drive its not to big a lot of great features in this vehicle very well built very safe.

This car is benchmark all around: comfort, design, style, prestige, luxury, reliability, etc.
This appreciation comes after 10 years of ownership.

You feel like you're in an air ride vehicle, making a 5 figure paycheck every month, and exclusively dressed beyond the nines. Performance? Powerful, aggressive, but transmission feels slow until you use the slapshift. But nothing like a modern DSG. Fuel economy is about the same as an 05 sedan, but for a 98- ahead of its time. All leather interior, wood furnishing; Mercedes out did themselves, exterior styling isn't my taste, but everyone else likes it. And as for reliability, mercedes' name speaks for itself

When driving this car around the city or in the suburbs, this car runs like a whistle, gives you a whiff of fresh air from the convertible roof, and makes you look like a rock star.
