Jeep Liberty 2008Change

This car is great for people who will be driving a lot in the winter/in bad weather and it is a sturdy, powerful car. However, it does have some mechanical issues with engine lights and the internal computer. Many parts have had to be replaced multiple times. I have never had these issues with other cars. Despite its flaws, it is a tough car that looks great too. If you can get one cheap, its annoying repairs might be worth it.

Other than tires and the moonroof I have had no repairs other than regular oil changes
I bought this vehicle second hand and it has been nothing but good to me. Mostly highway driven

you won't hear a noise in this Liberty.. amazing ride. come and try it... I recently changed the front and rear pads and rottors.. drives like silk, you would think you are driving a brand new SUV

I loved my Jeep.
Northern BC adventures as a women, you need to trust the vehicle. I always felt safe, its easy to handle and very reliable. Never went sliding, never got stuck! Traction control, 4x4 option and excellent heating system. Great sound! Roof opens to the front or the back to get the most sun and fresh air - amazing for road tripping! Actually enough space to sleep as the seats fold down to a flat surface. Excellent for stargazing with that sunroof :).The remote key opens the back window for grocery loading, really cool..

5 Years daily driver city and highway. Roomy comfort for 4 with luggage. Confidence of going anywhere.

I really like this vehicle. Yes it is true that it is not the most economical with regard to fuel consumption but the experience is pretty great if you like the utility that the Liberty provides. I like to off road occaisionally and the Liberty can do it. I have gotten myself in some odd situations that I questioned my ability to navigate but the car is reliable. Other than regular maintenance, I experienced no significant issues. It is a comfortable for longer drives, and easy responsive navigation in the city. I think it is probably beter for a single or a couple. Not a really a family car. Good space and pretty roomy in the back.

So, if you can get past the gas thing. I recommend the car.

I love my Jeep - I was looking for a SUV that could pull a small trailer but that wasn't too big. With the towing package this model can pull 5000lbs - easily towing my 16 ft trailer,

This is my second Jeep Liberty and just the regular maintenance has had to be done ie, oil changes, other fluid changes, otherwise, very reliable and perfect vehicle for living in the bush, the 4x4 is great. Only had to plug it in when the tempurature dips past -40. Lots of room for travelling with the kids, i've been coast to coast to coast with this jeep and have had no problems.

Good comfort and handling, if you want good mileage....look elsewhere. Great handling in the snow, excellent traction with snow tires. Fantastic for long drives.

I was very excited when I purchased my Jeep Liberty but my excitment was short lived. It is all together possible that my bad experience with the Dealership and especially the Sales Rep that sold me my Jeep soured my experience. I have had several electrical problems with the power windows and the easy exit driver's seat which still do not work correctly. However, the dealership feels that they have corrected the problem and will not look at either issue under warranty any longer. I have had several other service issues with this vehicle. I do however, like the interior and exterior of my Jeep and the options I have are to my liking also. It is not a vehicle for long distrance driving comfort wise but it is comfortable enough for every day short trip use and it is a little harder on gas than most of the vehicles you can purchase today. It is an okay vehicle but I will not purchase another one and I will definately not purchase another vehicle from the dealership where I got this one.
