GMC Savana 1500 Passenger 1987Change

This van is an excellent vechicle--except for the transmision. The first transmission required a rebuild at only 60,000kms. The next came at almost 200,000 kms. Overall the van runs well, and except for the cost of the transmission rebuilds, the overall repair costs are actually lower than prevois vans I have owned. Still running and on the road, it has become a secondary vechicle. It handles well on the highway and it not bad as a city van. Lots of room, the captains seats make it easy to get into the back of the van without having to get in and out doors, much safer when you want to change drivers on the side of the highway!
